Jumbo Prawns Gratin
Tidbits... This splendid recipe is very simple to realise and is ready in less than a half hour and sure to impress. It works well for antipasto, lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- Jumbo Prawns - 12 - 15
- Toasted bread crumbs - 150 g
- Garlic cloves - 2 lg.
- Parsley - 1 bumch fresh
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil - 4 T
Instructions
- With scissors cut shell from body to tail and remove vein and devein carefully. Rinse.
- With a knife cut the incision deeper and open delicately.
- Blend toasted bread crumbs, chopped parsley and chopped garlic cloves.
- Drizzle a few drops of olive oil over shrimp and stuff with gratin mixture. Drizzle another bit of oil overtop of stuffing and shell.
- Put on parchment covered pan and lightly oil. Place side by side with stuffing on top.
- Bake in preheated 375˚ oven for 20 minutes.
