Sorbetto die ciliegi e melograna melagrana
Tidbits...This sorbet is full of flavor. Serve cold (and slushy) and top with ripe sweet cherries.
Ingredients
- Succo di Melagrana - 125ml
- Acqua minerale naturale - 750ml
- ciliegi - 250 g. tritata
- Ciliegi - Per guarnire
- Zucchero - 125 g
- Pomegranate liquore or vodka - q.b.
Instructions
Clean, pit and chop cherries.
In saucepan put pomegranate juice, water and sugar and cook over low heat for 20 minutes until reduced to a dense syrup.
Let cool and mix in fruit and liqueur. Put in blender until smooth.
Put in stainless steel or plastic container, cover with saran and put in freezer for at least 3 hours. Stir every half hour with a fork or whisk.Remove and stir shortly before serving.
