Pere con Vino Rosso
Ingredients
- Pere - 4
- Vino Rosso - 2 bicchiere
- Zucchero - 50 g
- Canella - 1 bastone
- Foglie d'alloro - 4
- Burro - 2 cucchiai
Instructions
- Peel, cut in half and core pears, leave stem attached to one half.
- Melt butter in sauté pan and arrange pears in a single layer, on the flat side.Brown the pears on both sides, without letting the butter get too dark
- Sprinkle sugar over pears, add bay leaves and red wine.
- Cook the pears loosely covered until they are tender.
- Remove from heat and remove pears from pan. Reduce wine sauce until it is like dense syrup.
- Drizzle wine sauce over pears.
