Strudel
Tidbits...This recipe is not exactly an American recipe but rather a recipe by the "American mom" in homage to the German strudel that my son keeps telling me about. I don't know if I can match those traditional strudel recipes in Frankfurt but I will surely try!

- Filling
- Apples (Renette or Granny Smith ) - 6 large ( cored peeled and thinly sliced)
- Crumbs ( biscotti or bread) - 1 cup

- Pine nuts - 50 g
- Butter - 1/4 cup melted
- Cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- Extra Flaky Pie Crust - see recipe
