Tidbits...I probably inherited my "sweet tooth" from grandma Locele. She always had cookies, cakes or pies in her kitchen. If her pantry was running low she found the time to bake more. Ahhh, what sweet memories.

- Butter - 1 cup
- Egg - 1
- Molasses - 1/4 cup
- Baking soda - 1 tsp.
- Ginger - 1 tsp.
- Cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- Salt - pinch
- Raisins - 1 cup sultana

- Mix well then stir in oatmeal.
- Roll into walnut sized balls,( they really spread,) push one raisin into center of each cookie. Put on parchment lined baking sheet about 3 inches apart.
