Tangerine Ginger Shrimp
Tidbits...This colorful dish is full of flavor and only takes minutes to prepare. It is also good served at room temperature served with salad greens.
Ingredients
- Jumbo Shrimp in Shells - 1 kg
- Tangerines - 2
- Lemon - Juice of 1 lemon
- Ginger root - 2 tsp. grated
- Toasted bread crumbs - 75 g
- Olive oil - 1 T
- Worcestershire Sauce - dash
- Salt - to taste
Instructions
- Steam shrimp and remove shells except for tails
- Slice one tangerine and make bed in bottom of ovenproof dish.
- Toss shrimp and wedges from other tangerine with lemon juice and ginger.
- Arrange shrimp and wedges over sliced tangerines. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and drizzle olive oil and worcestershire sauce overtop.
- Broil for 5 minutes until golden or bake for 15 minutes in 400˚ oven.
