Orecchiette and Broccoli
Tidbits... This is a very simple pasta dish. Use a good quality olive oil and cook the pasta and broccoli al dente.
Ingredients
- Orechiette - 500 g
- Broccoli (florets only) - 1 head
- Olive oil - 3 T
- Hot red pepper - 1whole or flakes to taste
- Salt - to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta in abundant lightly salted water until al dente.
- Steam broccoli and reserve florets
- Heat olive oil and hot pepper in skillet on high. Add broccoli and cook 2 or 3 minutes.
- Add drained pasta and cook an additional 4 or 5 minutes stirring constantly until well coated. Add salt and hot red pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
