Chive Salsa
Tidbits... This tasty chive salsa can be used with carpaccio, a dip for raw veggies, baked potatoes.
Ingredients
- Chives - 3 T chopped
- Green onion - 1 chopped
- Flour - 1T
- Milk - 120 ml ( warmed)
- Yogurt - 2 T
- Butter - 15 g
- Nutmeg - 1/2 tsp. Freshly ground
- Salt and White Pepper - To taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in a saute pan on medium heat. Add the chopped green onion and mix for a minute.
- With a wooden spoon add the flour to the melted butter and add the milk a little at a time while continually stirring.Add the nutmeg, salt and pepper then return to a light boil for another 5 minutes.
- Remove from stove and mix the chopped chives and yogurt into the mixture.
