Be My Valentine – Double Fudge Cake Pops
Tidbits...Use your imagination and decorate your pops in your own way. I use small plastic cups with a variety of toppings. ( ground hazelnuts, pistacchios, slivered almonds, chocolate sprinkles)
Ingredients
- Double Chocolate Cake - See recipe
- Mascarpone - 3 T
- Dark Chocolate Lindt bars - 300 g ( 3 bars)
Instructions
- Crumble 1/4 cake and freeze the rest
- Mix crumbs with mascarpone and form small balls
- Chill for at least 2 hours
- Melt chocolate in water bath or microwave
- Dip stick in chocolate then insert in cake ball
- Dip in melted chocolate letting excess drip back into pan
- Dip in topping and place in glass (stick down) until chocolate hardens.
- Chill at least 2 hours
